I have been doing the Starting Strength program since 8/19/10 which makes it exactly four months today.

    I am 5'11

    My starting weights:

    Bodyweight: 155

    Squat: 85x3x5
    Deadlift: 95x1x5
    Bench Press: 65x3x5
    Press: 65x3x5

    I know, I was weak.

    Current weights:

    Bodyweight: 180

    Squat: 290.5x3x5
    Deadlift:300x1x5
    Bench Press:153.5x3x5
    Press: 119.5x3x5
    Chins: 3x7
    Pull-ups: 3x5

Power Clean: 130x5x3 (stopped doing these and switched to split snatches, because they look bad-ass)

    Split Snatch: 95x3x5 (just started)

    Going on Vacation until 12/31/10

Will probably drop weights by 5-10% upon return to be safe. We'll see how I feel.

    Merry Christmas!

During my vacation I am going to be looking into Oly programming for intermediates. I understand that I am not quite there yet, but as I progress into the advanced novice stage of SS, I want to have something planned for when the stall does occur. If anyone knows of a good resource for Olympic programming please let me know.

    Merry Christmas!

    Back from vacation.

Dropped my weights down a bit to recover from missed lifting time. I will move up in 2.5lb increases until I am back where I should be.

    Squats
    275x3x5

    Press
    110x3x5

    Cleans
    130x5x3

    Ate and slept well.

    Squat
    277.5x3x5

These were surprisingly tough considering the drop in weight. The first set especially. The second two were much better.

    Bench Press

    150x3x5

    These were pretty easy.

    Back Extensions

    3x10 25lbs

    Chins

    7, 7, 6

    Ate, slept well.

    Squat
    280 x 3 x 5

These were good, no real struggles.

    Press
    112.5

These were also easy, feel like I am getting back into the groove on my way back to lp

    Deadlift
    280 x 1 x 5

The last time I deadlifted my back was slightly rounded, these were much better, no rounding.

Sick, think/hope its just a cold. Didn't eat much

    Squat
    282.5 x 3 x 5

These were remarkably easy. My body has definitely regained any lost strength, flexibility.

    Bench Press

    152.5 x 3 x 5

Again, very easy. I will continue 2.5lb steps.

    Reverse Hyper
    3 x 10 w/ 30lbs

    Pull ups

    6, 5, 5

I was definitely fatigued by the end. Most likely due to the sickness, lack of energy.

    Squat

    287.5 x 3 x 5

    Bench Press

    155 x 3 x 5

These are starting to feel good, getting more comfortable with the position.
    Back Extensions

    3 x 10 +30lbs

    Chin Ups

    7 7 6

Might go back to using bands, not making much progress here.

    starting strength coach development program
    Squat

    288.5 x 3 x 5
These got really tough last session so I decided to drop it down to 1lb jumps as I had been following before I dropped down.
This may have eased them a bit for the session, these felt good.

    Press

    117.5 x 3 x 5
    These were relatively easy

    Deadlift

    285x5

These were somewhat tough, but I am able to get myself more extended in the starting position. The problem is that when the weight gets heavy, my hips rise and low back rounds slightly. Need to focus on squeezing it off the floor and dragging up shins.
