I am only 5'6" and the squat rack rails prevent me from going ATG. I can just break parallel by a couple inches. On the power rack, I'm able to go all the way down and the exercise feels so much better to me. However, someone told me the squat rack is preferable as you also have to balance the weight. Which should I choose? (I'm leaning towards power rack)

I have always wondered about this: how do you know a troll from a lazy, stupid person that just refuses to read either the books or the board? You seem fairly sure, but how can you confidently attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity and sloth?

A good troll is usually smart, otherwise people see right through him.
As for the OP: I don't think I actually understand your question. The power rack is embedded with The Force, and balances the weight for you? Stay away from this thing, I would.

Do NOT feed the trolls, Carlos. I know at least this much.

I actually did read the book and don't remember anything on this topic.

Another reason I posted is because someone asked this in the SS thread on bb.com and farley's advice was to use the squat rack, which ran contrary to what I thought should be the answer.

I wonder what AoA thinks about this? Should we ask him?
