complete beginner going to get big
never lifted before and got after a lot of time putting it off i decided to get on starting strength. started on 29th december 2010 so have been going about 5 weeks now, 6th week of training started yesterday.
age: 20
height: 6'0
weight: 83.18 kg (after 5 weeks now 90.8)
im aiming to eat 4-5000 calories a day
breakfast: oats and fruit
lunch: double egg and double bacon sarnie (sometimes this is in between breakfast and lunch if i have leftover dinner for lunch)
dinner: beef dish (chilli, lasagna, steak with veg etc) or half a whole chicken with veg and mash/roasted potato
in between: 180g of cashew nuts, 4 pints of milk, cheese on toast, 2 protein shakes
heres my log so far
i do 10 minutes of rowing before i lift every session

doesnt look like the images will work :\ basically ive increased 2.5 per session and gone from
squat: 30 (35) to 72.5
deadlift: 40 (45) to 70
bench: 30 (35) to 50
press: 20 (25) to 42.5
rows: 40 (45) to 50 (i had the technique wrong so dropped the weight yesterday)
(i thought the bar in the gym weighed 20kg at the start but later found it weighs 25kg)
i go gym weds/fri/sun, couldnt finish my last rep on the press yesterday

Dude, you gained 8kg to squat 70kg?? You're doing it wrong.

i havent seen the dvd yet, i learned all the technique from rips videos on youtube. so what am i doing wrong? i dont understand as far as im aware im progressing each session steadily

You guys are douches.
Ignore them, you're doing it right, you probably can cut back on some of the food but not too much. You should milk the linear gains for all they're worth.
