Oly program question
Hi Rip,
I have a question about oly lift programming for you. I followed SS until I depleted my novice effect, and then switched to Justin's program for weightlifting to introduce the lifts. I have found I'm struggling to recover now. This is an old post but would you still recommend something along these lines for an intermediate lifter?

Secondly, how would you recommend the presses be done? Similar to TM but spread out over a longer time frame? Also, any suggestions for the rack jerks (medium, light, heavy?). Shit, this turned out to be longer than I had planned. Apologies. Thanks for the help.

Nothing has occurred in the past 2 years that would alter my opinion of this program. I don't know what Justin's program is. Do the presses as you would do them in any program that would make the presses stronger; 3 sets of 5 across should work, maybe 5 x 5. Rack jerks are done heavy for singles, but if you're going to do heavy C&Js the next day you may have to rearrange this.
