Question says it all basically.. I find that I can only go up by 2.5 pounds a week, unlike the other lifts which go up by 5. Is this normal or am I missing something? They land on a Friday and deadlifts are on Mondays if that makes any difference.

I've actually reached the point where I can only go up 1 pound a week, so I think you are doing fine. On the other hand, I do PCs with 162.5 pounds, so I'm probably not strong enough to comment.

Lifts that use smaller (press/bench) or more (power clean) muscles will typically run out of 5lb jumps, unless you are humongous. My press is only going up 1lb a week, my snatch 1.5lbs, my clean 2-3lbs (I'm only 165lb, though). Progress is progress; don't have any shame in moving up slowly. Elite guys will spend 4 years increasing their cleans 10lbs... that's about 0.05lbs a week!

It seems that overall power cleans progress slower than other lifts. I used to increase by five pounds until I just couldn't progress. Now I micro load. Works for me.

yes they progress slower. I'm at 170 and I've been doing 2.5lb jumps since 135.
