You could try SS but with those numbers I don't think you'll last very long on it. Try to milk SS as much as you can then move on to TM.

I would suggest SS just to make sure you are done with LP but you won;t be on it for very long.

From there, texas method is good and beyond that (which should last about a year to 1.5) you would need to talk to a power lifting coach.

Jay Ashman who just joined here would not be a bad person to talk to.

You may also want to put what city you are from. Coaching is harder online than in person

    Thanks, Jamie...

Your goals are to be a PL, correct?

Raw or geared? I would hope raw for now until you hit certain numbers.

How do you lift now? Do you do the classic squat or the wide stance PL squat?

Fill me in on everything and let's direct you.

SS even with my numbers? wouldnt it be a waste of time to just stall so fast?

yeah, i want to compete raw only. i think geared powerlifting is a joke.

i do olympic style atg squats.

I never said do SS, in fact I would suggest you NOT do SS....

ATG as a powerlifter? Why? that is really not being as efficient of a lifter as you could be. If you want to compete you have to get rid of the olympic squat as your main squat

okay, i would love to do SS but i think it would run me to the ground asap.

well im not a powerlifter yet, just getting stronger. i was told to use oly style to get stronger legs and use pl style to lift more weight. but ive done some WS stuff so I know how to box squat pl style.

Do them both, your main squat should be your competition squat and use the oly squat for quad development.

    starting strength coach development program
why dont you try wendlers 5/3/1? or for that matter, who says you need a program. just concentrate on your 3 main lifts and assistance lifts. at your age you can go heavy for a couple weeks without deloading.

ill say this one last thing. the biggest piece of advice ive recieved since lifting is this. YOU have to figure out what makes YOU get stronger. try things for a few months and record your results. this is a lifelong journey.
