    First time lifting since last year's wrestling season because of academic reasons preventing me from participating this season. Bulked up quite a bit since I didn't need to watch my weight anymore. Felt pretty good, but it could've been better.

    Squat Warm Up/Looking for Work Set:
    2x5 @ 45 lbs
    1x5 @ 65 lbs
    1x5 @ 95 lbs
    1x5 @ 115 lbs

    Work Set ---> 3x5 @ 135 lbs

    Bench Warm Up/Looking for Work Set
    2x5 @ 45 lbs
    1x5 @ 65 lbs
    1x3 @ 95 lbs
    1x3 @ 115 lbs

    Work Set ---> 5/5/5 @ 125 lbs

    Deadlift Warm Up/Looking for Work Set
    1x3 @ 95 lbs
    1x3 @ 115 lbs
    1x3 @ 135 lbs
    1x3 @ 155 lbs

    Work Set ---> 1x5 @ 185 lbs

    I felt pretty good (and stupid) at the end of the session so I tried going for a deadlift PR. I hit 2 plate no problem, guess I didn't lose as much strength as I expected.

    Haven't ever done OHP or Power Cleans before, so I wasn't too sure how my form was. I was also stupid and thought that I could master the form for cleaning during my warm up. Probably going to go back to the bar only and work on my form next B Day.

    Squat Warm Up/Looking for Work Set:
    2x5 @ 45 lbs
    1x5 @ 95 lbs
    1x5 @ 115 lbs
    1x5 @ 135 lbs

    Work Set ---> 3x5 @ 155 lbs

    OHP Warm Up/Looking for Work Set
    2x5 @ 45 lbs
    1x5 @ 60 lbs

    Work Set ---> 5/5/5 @ 70 lbs

    Power Clean Warm Up/Looking for Work Set
    1x3 @ 45 lbs
    1x3 @ 65 lbs
    1x3 @ 75 lbs

    Work Set ---> 5x3 @ 95 lbs

    Your weights look good for your body weight. One thing I would suggest; try to be patient with your increases. Making twenty pound jumps will catch up to you later. Use the lighter weights to nail your form first.

    Had a tennis game today, so that was my cardio. Did some pull ups and dips while I waited between matches.

    7/7/7 Pull Ups
    10/10/10 Dips

    Turns out I could do more dips than I originally thought.

    Couldn't go yesterday because of some issues, so I went today.

    Squats @ 165 5/5/5
    Felt good, no issues.

    Bench @ 135 5/5/5
    Had to stop at 3 on the last set and finish the other 2 after a little rest. A little heavy, going to try again next time.

    Deadlift @ 205 5
    They felt pretty clean, but a football player said my back was rounding, so I'll probably deload and try to work on form next week.

    Overall it was a good gym day. My buddy came along and worked with me.

    Its supposed to be my rest day, but I had a tennis game today. Not sure if I can lift tomorrow because I kind of hurt my foot running after a shot. Good news is that I won. Depending on how my foot feels in the morning, I'll decide whether or not lifting would be a good idea.

    No luck. Woke up groggy and forgot about the pain. Got off bed with normal distribution of weight on my heel and it hurt like a bitch. Probably going to have to take a week off.

    First day back in the gym since I messed up my heel. No more pain, everything felt good.

    Squats @ 165 5/5/5
    Kept the weight the same because of the week off and the injury.

    OHP @ 75 5/5/5
    Not much lower body involved, so I decided to increase the weight

    Power Clean @ 95 5/5/5
    Tried to work on my form and avoid agitating my heel, so I kept the weight the same as well.

    Overall a good day back. Time to chow down.
