Hey all, on my way back from Afghanistan and having lost about 20 pounds out here I'm ready to start a healthy dose of SS and GOMAD. Going to start off in the base gym on July 4th! and keep my diet consistent at 5000 calories a day. Hope to have enough time off and break from unit PT to have a uninterrupted cycle from July through the end of September. Looking to gain enough strength to start a balanced strength and conditioning program aimed at getting me ready for special operations (either MARSOC or getting out of the Marines and trying for PJ (Pararescue) in the air force).

Will post on Monday to see what my starting numbers are and how the weekend of finding a place to live and buying enough groceries for the week goes!
