    The views are a little eh.
    Off the bat I'm thinking I'm not as explosive as I can be?
    Also, having issues making sure the bar makes contact with my thigh before I explode.
    Any insight would be super appreciated!

    I didn't have these taken with the intent of posting them on here, so they aren't the greatest. I figured while I had them, what the heck, might as well see what people say?

    You need to drop down to receive the bar in the rack. Also need to relax your arms, only using the minimum amount of tension to maintain your hook grip. Don't pull the bar up with your arms, they should stay completely straight until you start moving down to catch the bar. Also a slightly wider grip might help.

    And stop standing on the wall like that.

    DO NOT put the bar down the way you are doing it, you will hurt your back. Let it come down your shirt and catch it against your thighs with your body totally upright, and then deadlift it down. I threw my back out about 5 weeks ago getting sloppy with putting down the bar after a power clean and it still hasn't recovered.
