    Default Squat pain possibilities?

No video but for some reason when I squat up the fibula in my right leg hurts real bad. Like a quick sharp pressure pain. I also notice it hurts for a few seconds longer if I sit in the squat position for a bit, even with only bodyweight, and then get up I have to limp because it feels like it wants to snap. It's wierd because it's only on one side too, what could I possibly be doing to cause this?

No, I don't think I have an injury there because it doesn't hurt when I run on it or put pressure on it alone.

It could still be a stress fracture. It could also be anything from an IT band issue to a meniscus issue to a nerve entrapment deal. How long has this been going on? You run and play rugby, correct? Did anything happen during these activities, like an impact or an excessive twisting force on the knee? If so, it might be a good idea to see an ortho, since the pain seems both severe and weird.
