    I began my starting strength training on 8/12/2011. I was lifting consistently for about 9 months prior to this. I am going to post my log up until present and then start recording new logs with more notes

    Note (added 10/6/11): Like a dummy, I thought I would do 5 sets of 5 reps for everything but deadlifts until the weight got heavy since I didn't want to lose 'progress' of my old split routine days by keeping overall volume up. I'm starting to stall out so I will now be switching to:

    Workout A
    3x5 Squat
    3x5 Bench Press
    1x5 Deadlift

    Workout B
    3x5 Squat
    3x5 Press
    5x3 Power cleans

    Personal stats as of 9/29/2011
    Age: 26
    Weight: 184 lbs
    Height: 5' 7"
    BF: 19% (by suprailliac measurement with cheap calipers, probably low)
    10/6/11 BF estimation using YMCA formula 23.8%
