    Default form check: are these HARD squats or WRONG squats?

    • starting strength seminar jume 2024
    • starting strength seminar august 2024
    • starting strength seminar october 2024
    I gave it all I could on the last SS workout: 3x5x240lbs. These are my second and third sets. I have read (and reread) the book and know the form is neither consistent nor ideal, but I did the best I could under this weight. Would you say these were ok/valid squats? Or does it look like I will soon hurt myself and better deload 10%?

    thanks for looking and my apols for the lousy conditions the video was shot in. it is dark and there are things between the cam and me which are there to save my a$$ in case things go wrong. all advice is most welcome.

    Dude. Clothes. Wear them.

    Your feet look like they're pointed almost straight ahead. Point them out more and shove your knees out more. Generally tighten everything up more while your at it.

    But don't tighten up your shorts. That would approach dangerous levels.
