I'm a long time lurker and have decided to finally start my log in an effort to keep myself accountable. My training history is very minimal.

I graduated HS in 2001 with a BW of 130 lbs @ 6'1". I started working a desk job full-time and going to college full-time and ended up at my heaviest BW of 320 (completely untrained). In 2010 I decided to go on a Paleo-ish diet and in April of 2011 I started SS.

    My lifting progress has been:

    Squat: 45 to 225 (3x5)
    Deadlift: 95 to 285 (1x5)
    Bench: 65 to 175 (3x5) - I hate this lift
    OHP: 45 to 115 (3x5)
    PC: 45 to 165 (5x3)
    Current BW: 250 lb

I've lost a lot of fat in the process and have seen a huge change in my body comp. Due to my extreme schedule right now I can only go twice a week (T & S). I'm graduating college on 12/9 and hope to really focus back on the program.

Nice progress, even more so considering the massive weight loss. Keep it coming!

I went and saw Immortals last night and made the mistake of expecting 300 again. It was good but not great.

Squats: 225 x 5 - felt good and will be increasing the weight next time.
    OHP: 110 x 5/5/5 - these went up fast
PC: 145 x 3/3/3 - I de-loaded and focused on form. Will be increasing next time.

    Squats: 235 x 5
    Bench: 160 x 5/5/5
    Deadlift: 295 x 5

All lifts were hard.. probably because I took 8 days off..

    Real bad day lifting yesterday.

Squats: 235 x 4 - fixed my form from last time but failed 5th rep
    OHP: 120 x 5/5/4
    PC: 160 x 3/3 - terrible form breakdown so I stopped there

Edit: Just noticed I was supposed to do 155lb on PC, maybe that's why they felt so heavy...

Did you switch to doing only 1 set of squats?

I'm impressed with your weight loss and your lifting progress - keep up the good work.
