    Current stats:

    Age - 23
    Height - 5ft 11in
    Weight - ~190lbs

PR's in the past 12-18 months:

    Squat: 140kg/308lb x 4
    Bench: 90kg/198lb x 1
    Deadlift: 170kg/374lb x 3
    Press: 70kg/154lb x 2

Haven't done cleans properly so nothing to go on for these. The problem is my programming, my vision, my training ethos if you will, has been retarded. Losing weight, trying intermediate programs when I didn't need to etc.

Yeah I'm one of those idiots who took forever to realise that you need to get strong above all else, that you need to quit worrying about being lean until you are, that you need to quit worrying about what kind of diet to follow and all that other unimportant shit.

I'm a guy who played rugby all through school, so god knows where this pussy mentality came from.

I'm sick of messing around and having come to the conclusion that I need a fresh start after a few injuries and improper training for the past two months or more, what better program to use?

In short, I have a holiday with the girlfriend on June 10th and I plan on training every other day until then. I will eat everything in sight. I will put on 20-30lbs and I WILL NOT stall before June 10th, on ANY lifts.

The lifts will begin with very light weights (at least in comparison to my PRs in the past 12 months) so I can work on my form which has truly went to shit in the past while.

    Beginning:

    Squat - 85kg/187lb x 5 x 3
    Bench - 60kg/132lb x 5 x 3
    Deadlift - 105kg/231lb x 5 x 1
    Press - 40kg/88lb x 5 x 3
    Clean - 60kg/132lb x 3 x 5

I'll be keeping a written log book of my own but I like to keep something online (wherever that may be) for back up and I really do appreciate the amount of information Rip and the rest bring to this forum and the wider spectrum.

By June 10th, I expect my lifts to look like so:

    Squat - 172.5kg/379.5lb x 5 x 3
    Bench - 102.5kg/225.4lb x 5 x 3
    Deadlift - 170kg/374lb x 5 x 1
    Press - 82.5kg/181.5lb x 5 x 3
    Clean - 102.5kg/225.4lb x 3 x 5

I'm backing off on the deadlift progression rate as my previous style was touch and go. Just to explain why it's not way ahead of the squat by my programming.

After the trip, I'll simply deload by 10% on all lifts and go again.

    2nd April, 2012

    Squat - 85kg x 5 x 3

No issues here. Form was back to being explosive and had good depth.

    Bench - 60kg x 5 x 3

Surprisingly felt a bit heavier than I expected to be. Hopefully just a by-product of not doing much bench work up until recently.

    Deadlift - 105kg x 5 x 1

Moving from touch and go style (or shit form, in my case), I think the movement has finally clicked in.

Started using some liquid chalk for the first time. Helped the cleans immensely.

    Squat - 87.5kg x 5 x 3

Still light but felt a good stretch at the bottom.

    Press - 40kg x 5 x 3

    Easy enough.

    Power Clean - 60kg x 3 x 5

Technique is getting better. One of my favourites now.
