    First SS workout today.
    Squat: 60kg for 3x5
    Press: 40kg for 3x5
    Deadlift: 70kg for 1x5
    with appropriate warmups, etc. etc.
The squat and the deadlift felt pretty light, especially the deadlift. I have recently done 150kg for a single, but I thought I'd better not push it as this is my first workout in quite some time other than crossfit WODs, so I went light and worked on technique. Considering this, I might actually jump 5kg rather than 2.5kg between workouts for a short while.
Really happy to be on the programme
Made the epic triple fried egg sandwich with chili and chutney of red dwarf fame. My nutritional plan is basically 'food is good'. Eating is one of life's great pleasures and I interpret beginning this program as a carte blanche to do as much of it as I please.

    Welcome and good luck

    Suggestions:
5kg per workout for squats to 100kg
15kg per workout for deadlift to 100kg then 10kg to 130-140kg
2.5kg per workout for press and bench.
