I have lurked around here for long enough. Figured I might as well start a log here to keep track of my progress, post videos, get feedback, and subject myself to general ridicule.
This is my second go at SS. I was a fairly avid lifter in HS in the '90's while playing football. We had a PL team my sophomore through senior year. I competed in the 242's and placed 3rd in the Louisiana State Meet. I don't remember my exact numbers but my bench was around 300, squat around 500-550, and deadlift around 550-600. Ah... the good 'ol days! If I could go back I would never have stopped training. Unfortunately in real life Beer drinking and pussy chasing took over my college years and flat out laziness after that.
I discovered SS about a year ago after a brief flirt w/ xfit. The book blew me away and made me wish I had discovered these methodologies when I was 16. I got some weights for the garage and I was on my way.
My first run at SS went from 11/16/11 to 06/01/12. The numbers looked like this:
Squat: 140 x 5 x 3 to 330 x 5 x 3
Press: 95 x 5 x3 to 147 x 5 x 3
Bench: 135 x 5 x 3 to 247.5 x 5 x 3
Deadlift: 205 x 5 to 340 x 5
Power Cleans: 100 x 3 x 5 to 135 x 3 x 5
I took a week off to go on vacation with the family and one week turned into 2... into 3... into 3 months... Basic laziness, sloth, and not wanting to lift in my hot ass garage.
When the weather turned the corner I decided I had no more excuse so I am back at it starting from scratch.
I started 09/10/12 at:
Squat: 125 x 5 x 3
Press: 60 x 5 x 3
Deadlift: 155 x 5
Bench: 105 x 5 x 3
Cleans: 95 x 5 x 3
Current Stats as of 10/26/12:
Squat: 265 x 5 x 3
Press: 125 x 5 x 3
Deadlift: 300 x 5
Bench: 160 x 5 x 3
Cleans: 130 x 3 x 5

Same story here... I have an Uncle and some cousins up in shreveport/bossier area
Small world. One day I'm going to find a workout partner on here that doesn't mind getting up at 4 am to lift lol.
Saw the thread title and my first thought, honest to God, was "that Mena Suvari is one sexy, skanky-looking little midget!"
It only counts if your Uncle is ALSO a Cousin.
Disclaimer, my grandparents on my mom's side were cousins and that side of the family was in Louisiana when the U.S. purchased it, so I know of whence I speak ...
