S-185 did 2 sets, felt like my form was garbage, did 175 the last set (+5 -5)
    P-110 failed last rep set 3 (+5)
    D-skipped
Pull-ups-3X5 Plate #1--should move to BW on Friday
Why do my squats suck? I'm thinking about getting a coach or PT from the new crossfit gym in town to watch me, laugh and point, and tell their friends about how much I suck. Maybe I'll post a video on here, that way I won't have to pay to be laughed at...because paying for it is borderline dominatrix-type stuff, amirite?

S-195 (+5)woo hoo! next workout will be 200! I actually thought I was going to lose my balance on one, I think I went a little too low...scared the shit out of me.

    C-145 ---

If I keep up this 5 lbs increase every workout I'll be using 240 lbs for my work-set at Christmas.

If someone had told me that if I started squatting (well, started keeping track of squatting numbers) on Halloween with a work-set weight of 120 lbs and I could be doing 240 lbs at Christmas I would have told them that's not possible. 2 plates is my short term goal, if I really can get 240 by Christmas I'll be a Rippetoist for life.

Hey good work getting it going with the program. I am currently in a similar place with my squats (205 3x5) but have gone as high as 240 3x5 in the past. I personally found it hard to just keep flying by with 5lb increases after 225. That was discouraging for me and one of the reasons my first attempt at SS fell apart. Don't let that happen to you! Even if you don't get 240 by Christmas you will get it shortly thereafter, and then 300 after that. At least thats my plan!

Thanks jdavid. I finally hit the 200 mark. I'm thinking about doing 200 one more workout before moving on up to 205 because I think a couple of squats could actually be considered good mornings.

S-185 went down in weight and really focused on correct form. I nailed them. I might try 195 tonight. I also wore a ball cap pulled down (Mirrors everywhere) and a sweat shirt. the shirt helped the bar stay up and the cap helped me look down.
    B-175 almost did 5, 4, 4. will stay at 175 next time
D-225 down again, after reading others threads I decided that I was probably doing 5x1 instead of 1x5. So 225 was pretty easy but was more intense since I actually did 5 in a row.

I have readjusted my goal to 225 at Christmas.
