I've decided to revert to the basics and follow the SS routine. I was never properly trained in the squat, bench, or deadlift in high school. I'm 29 now, 6'1" and 190lb. Last April after Crossfit my 1 rep maxes were: 275 DL, 205 Squat, 185 Bench, no 1RM for press

After 2 weeks in starting strength I'm at:
    Squat - 215 3x5
    Deadlift - 225 2x5
    Bench - 165 3x5
    Press - 85lb 3x5

My weights have progressed every workout but i'm now adding only 5lb per exercise per workout, but still progressing.

I haven't read the Starting Strength book yet (slap my wrist), but at what point should I add more to my routine? After I've stalled the main lifts or whenever I feel like it?

After you stall out on all your lifts, switch to the Texas Method for your first few months of intermediate level training. Get Practical Programming for basic nuts and bolts of the program
