    So I was doing SS a while ago and made some decent progress, but eventually got sidetracked with other stuff. Hopefully putting this log online will be enough to get me to stop being a pussy and get stronger.

    Right now, I'm just doing the standard SS before adding power cleans. I'll put those back in soon (probably at 2.5 plate DL).

    5'8"; 175lbs; 18 years old:

    The first time I did SS:
    Squat: 120lbs -> 250lbs
    Bench 75lbs -> 155lbs
    Deadlift: 135lbs -> 285 lbs
    Press: 60lbs -> 110 lbs

    I'm going to try my hardest to eat everything in sight for the next few months.

    I had a light workout on Jan 25 to get used to things again.

    Jan 28
    Squat: 215x5x3
    Felt pretty good, but I've definitely lost some flexibility. Even getting the bar onto my shoulders properly was a lot harder than expected.
    Bench: 130x5x3
    Not too bad

    Deadlift: 225x5x1
    Really easy, I could have done at least 3 more reps

    Jan 30
    Squat: 220x5x3

    Press: 90x5x3
    Not overly difficult

    Deadlift: 235x5x1

    Feb 2
    Squat: 225x5x3
    Harder than I expected, but not awful

    Bench: 135x5x3

    Deadlift: 245x5x3
    Starting to get harder.

    So unfortunately I had to do a initial fitness test for a canoe camping class I'm taking. This test included running up and down a flight of stairs as many times as possible in 12 minutes (which sucks), as well as push-ups and sit-ups. Their idea of a good way to assess muscular strength is checking vertical jump height and grip strength..... I expected this to fuck up my workout.

    Squats: 235x5x2
    235x4x1
    I expected that those damn stairs would mess up my squats and I just barely wasn't able to get that last rep back up.

    Press:
    95x5
    95x4
    95x3
    Fuck....

    Deadlifts:
    250x5x1
    I figured that 10lbs was to much to jump while exhausted, so I did 5.

    I shouldn't have any other bullshit to do between now and May...

    My calves are still sore from those fucking stairs; walking is painful.

    Squats: 235x3x1
    I decided to stick with the same weight as last workout; ended up being really unstable and sloppy. I decided against the other sets.

    Bench: 140x5x3
    No problems here.

    Deadlifts:
    255x5
    Felt like I could have done at least 270 without trouble.
