Texas Method isn't designed for a whole bunch of assistance work. If you want a higher volume of assistance work you will have better luck doing a split routine.

    Ex:

    Mon - Bench + Dips/Chins
    Tues - Squats + Cleans
    Thurs - Press + Dips/Chins
    Fri - Squats + Deads

How you then program the squat sessions with only of them per week?
Keep the Volume-Recovery-Intensity pattern and have the cycle end in the following week? Remove the Recovery session?

Remove the recovery day. My observation has been that it doesn't really affect strength all that much.....it just feels shittier when you start your warm ups on ID day.
