Well Hello! You don't want to sit here and read some long crap about who I am and what I do....
    Age: 26*
    Sex: Female
Occupation: Doctor of Physical Therapy and a damn good one (I make most of my pts and clients lift at some point)
Athletic History: 9-21 years old-Dancer, 21-23 years old Collegiate Triathlete, 23-24 dabble in powerlifting but mainly was just a gym junkie, 25 to present Powerlifting

First Competition: RPS Long Island Insurrextion in November 2012 on a whim and I'm hooked...check it out

I figured now was a good time to start my training log as I've just taken a two week hiatus from lifting. I was traveling cross country for my best friends wedding and as Maid of Honor I got no sleep nor had any down time or one minute to get to the gym while I was there and when I came back I was jet lagged and utterly exhausted. Just before the wedding I was dieting to look a little leaner in my dress so my Standing Press was suffering. On the SS LP I was pressing the same days as my heavy squats and I just couldn't get 5 x 3 for three workout attempts on the press. That being said after discussion with my SS coaches (John Petrizzo (my boy friend) and Nick D'Agostino (my home boy)), I've switched to a 4 day split.

Official PRs: in 165 wt class, raw, 11/12
    Squat- 220lb
    Bench- 140lb
    Deadlift- 245lb

*New PRs @ RPS HEATWAVE 7/13/13
    148, raw
    Squat-240lb
    Bench-155lb (165x1, paused gym PR)
    Deadlift-305lb

    *Press PR (gym)-117.5x1

    Lifts Just Before my Hiatus:
    Squat: 197.5 x 5 x 3
    Bench: 130 x 5 x 3
    Press: 100 x 4, 5, 5 three workouts in a row
    Deadlift: 215 x 5

    Yesterday's Workout:
    Squat: 45 x 5 x 2, 95 x 5, 115 x 4, 135 x 3, 155 x 2, 175 x 1, 185 x 5 x 3
    Deadlift: 95 x 5, 135 x 5, 165 x 3, 185 x 1, 205 x 5

    Everything felt great!

    Default Workout for 2/25/13

Meh. Was crunched for time and didn't rest enough between sets. 2 weeks ago I benched 130 x 5 x 3. Today, I had trouble with 125. And my pull ups sucked. When I do pull ups at my JOB I can do half of what I can do at the gym down the street from my house. The pull up "handles" that we have at my job are terrible for my because they are too wide. I literally can do half of what I can do with a regular pull up bar. Oh well. My workout pissed me off but I didn't let it ruin my day. I was originally going to bench 120 but decided to go for 125 once I got going. Not the end of the world. I will repeat next time.

    Bench:
    45 x 5 x 2
    65 x 5
    85 x 3
    105 x 2
    115 x 1
    125 x 5, 5, 3 poop

Neutral Grip Pull Ups with handles too far apart
    BW x 3
    BW x 2, 2

Tomorrow's workout will be more enjoyable.

Well today's workout (2/27/13) went much better than my bench workout on Monday. I lifted with my friend Samantha. Sam is a seriously fast long distance runner. We met when she was a participant in Doctorate study in grad school. Now, we're not only close friends but lifting buddies too. She's in and out with the lifting but over the past few months she's been more consistent. She doesn't have a physical log for her workouts other than her Iphone which she forgets most of the time. So today I had her download the SS Warm Up app so at least her last lifts will be saved. She also doesn't like to lift on her own so if I'm unavailable to lift on our usual days, she just wont lift because she doesn't really know what to do. Well, now she does since she has the app, so no more excuses for her hopefully!

    Today's workout....

    Squat:
    45 x 5 x 2
    95 x 5
    115 x 4
    135 x 3
    155 x 2
    175 x 1
    190 x 5 x 3

Here's a clip of my last Squat set

I suck at Power Cleans for a few reasons, A) I just started doing them really in the last 2 months and B) I separated my left AC joint in 2009 and had left wrist surgery in 2011. PC tend to hurt my wrist and bother my shoulder on occasion so I'm kind of scared of them, as you can see in the clips below.

    45 x 5 x 2
    65 x 5
    75 x 3
    85 x 2
    95 x 1
    100 x 3 x 5

    Set 1:

    Set 5 (tireddd):

So you think those are bad? They used to be worse!

    That is it for now!!
