Started up training 4 months or so ago after a 2 year break from lifting. Stopped training 2 years ago after a shoulder injury acquired whilst doing power cleans, took some time off and never got back into it. 35 yo male.

    Starting weights: 13/12/2012

    Squat 3x5 @ 40kg
    Press 3x5 @ 30kg
    Deadlift 1x5 @ 60kg
    Bench 3x5 @ 40kg
    Rows 3x5 @ 40kg
    BW 80kg

    Latest WO: 23/3/2013

    Squats:
    2x5 @ 20kg
    1x5 @ 40kg
    1x5 @ 60kg
    1x5 @ 80kg
    3x5 @ 100kg

    Bench:
    2x5 @ 20kg
    1x5 @ 40kg
    1x5 @ 60kg
    3x5 @ 70kg

    Deads:
    1x5 @ 60kg
    1x5 @ 80kg
    1x3 @ 100kg
    1x5 @ 120kg
    1x1 @ 130kg
    1x1 @ 140kg

    Dips:
    1x10 @ BW
    3x5 @ BW + 5kg

Comments: Been a week since my last WO, dropped the weight on the squats from 110kg last time to work on some form issues. Did a couple single's on the deads just for shits and giggles, all done double overhand, probably could have ground out 150 but didn't want to push it. Trying to delay going mixed grip for as long as possible, i just don't like the way it feels. Body weight 87kg, been stuck at 87/88 for at least a month now, having real trouble getting enough calories in, has always been an issue. Constantly skipped WO's over the last month as well, either from not eating enough, or CBF'd, so hopefully posting my log will help me find some motivation.

Stevie, I hope you find the motivation to keep at it, at your age you've still got the ability to make some significant gains quickly. SS is a great program, wish I had access to this knowledge 26 years ago. The older you get the more desirable the strength, it just takes longer to get there.

Thanks Sven, its was surprising how quickly the strength came back, even after a 2 year lay-off. Now if i can stop skipping WO's i might actually get somewhere.

    Squats:
    2x5 @ 20kg
    1x5 @ 40kg
    1x5 @ 60kg
    1x5 @ 80kg
    3x5 @ 100kg

    Press:
    2x5 @ 20kg
    1x5 @ 35kg
    3x5 @ 50kg

    Rows:
    1x5 @ 50kg
    3x5 @ 65kg

    Chin-ups:
    6,5,4 @ BW

Comments: A week since my previous WO, so obviously no increase in the weights. Barely made the last rep in set 2 and 3 of the press, should have dropped this a little me thinks, either way i'll have to microload from now. Still hate chins and pulls with a passion. Body weight holding steady at 88kg, time to start eating big.

    Squats:
    2x5 @ 20kg
    1x5 @ 40kg
    1x5 @ 60kg
    1x5 @ 80kg
    3x5 @ 102.5kg

    Bench:
    2x5 @ 20kg
    1x5 @ 40kg
    1x5 @ 60kg
    3x5 @ 70kg

    Deads:
    1x5 @ 70kg
    1x5 @ 90kg
    1x3 @ 110kg
    1x5 @ 125kg

    Dips:
    3x10 @ BW

Comments: Hadn't done a bench is while, so no increase in weight there. Hadn't done any deads in a while either but threw another 5kg on it no problems. BW 88.5kg, its 24hours post work-out and upper back/traps, glutes/hams reasonably sore. Always feel sore after this WO in the traps, even though i don't work them directly? Go figure.
