Deadlift
Hi Andy,
I've just started the advanced novice program and was wondering what would be more beneficial on the "deadlift" day (wednesday) alternating between deadlift and SLDL or deadlift and deficits for someone whos weak off the floor? infact my deadlift is pretty shoddy compared to my other lifts in general.

Technically the novice program does not have you using assistance exercises yet.
If you are stuck, try adding a set of SLDLs after DL's as a back off set. One top set of 5-8 reps off a 3-4 inch block.
