Dip Addition
Hi Andy,
I’m doing some fat loss stuff right now so I’m running at a pretty good-sized deficit. I’d like to add dips to my current program as I believe them to be a very effective exercise, but I’m trying to figure out the best spot to put them.
My program is as follows:
Mon
Squats – 5’s
Wed
Bench – 5’s
Press – 5’s
Fri
Deads – 3’s
Chins – max reps
Which of these sounds best?
1. Add them after Squats to help even out the time I’m spent in the gym M/W/F – but
will they interfere with bench and pressing on Wed?
2. Add them on Wed, but for time management purposes that may make the
scheduling a little hairy since I’m already doing 2 compounds this day.
3. Friday? Same time issue as Wed potentially
4. Don’t add them at all?
5. Come in to the gym another day to do them?
