Default Programming for a novice who can dedicate 3 months to training?

    Hi,

I strongly suspect that the answer to this is just "linear progression routine 3x/week + eat and rest adequately", but I figured it was worth a shot.

As it stands, I am a novice, and my lifts are embarrassingly low.

I have 3 months that I can totally dedicate to lifting. I do not currently need to get a job. If I want to get as strong as I can in that period, is there anything *else* I can do? I am under the impression that the LPs were designed under the assumption that the trainee would be doing other things but lifting with his life.

    Thank you.

There is actually a much faster more effective program for novices, but we aren't going to tell you.

No-one ever has enough virgins or goats for that method anyways.

    Heh.

Always hear about those movie stars who somehow go from skinny to big within a few months of intense training/eating. The big response people have is usually "it was steroids" or "they have personal trainers and people cooking all their meals for them." Since I do have that amount of time/freedom on my hands right now, I figured asking was worth a shot.

I appreciate the info. I'll keep that in mind.

In all honesty, there is a lot of truth to what you said. A lot of movie stars and models do use steroids/GH etc. Not at Ronnie Coleman levels, but use them nonetheless. I don't fault them for it.

Thanks. I'll stick to what I was doing.
