Meet taper
I have a meet on the 22nd. Finished my last volume day today with 10 ascending singles starting with 385 and finishing off at 420. My PR is 447 set at a meet in December. For my last intensity day (Monday), do I shoot for a new PR or save it for the meet? Last weeks intensity day was a 425 single but had a sore low back whereas today it felt great.
The plan was to work up to my opener next Thursday, with a light recovery day the following Monday before the meet.
Any thoughts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
