    My name is Jerry. I've been a SS forum lurker for a while. I ran my LP last year + a good deal of intermediate progress, took a few months off and got back to lifting around the first of June 2013. I hope to be back in PR territory by October. I'm trying to clean up my diet at the same time. I am running a 5/3/1-ish bastardized program right now (to call it 5/3/1 would be disrespectful to its creator). I decided that I would keep a log here in the intermediate section to help drive my progress. That said, my current stats are as follows:
    Age: 37
    Height: 6'
    Weight: 259
    Waist: 45.25
    Bench: 270 X 5
    Squat: 365 X 3
    Deadlift: 377.5 X 6
    Press: 170 X 5

    This was one of those sessions that was just a grind to get through. I should have been able to get more reps on my heavy sets based on what I've been doing the last few workouts. Tweaked my elbow a little bit somewhere along the way and decided not to do the assistance work I had planned.

    Hit my lifts today... barely. It was a grind. I need to watch my macros a little closer. I have been weak on calories a couple of days, and my protein has been too low overall. I guess when you're cutting weight, things are going to get tough sooner rather than later. I just need to make sure I'm taking care of business at the dinner table.
