    Default Best diet-logging smartphone app?

I've been using "Lose It!" for a few days and I like it quite a bit. But I'd like it better if I could see my micros. Also the interface is a bit clunky for entering a new recipe.

Are there apps that report micros? Should I check out any other apps that may be better in general than "Lose It!"? For me, it has to be usable both on my phone and at my comp (otherwise I'd use fitday).

    Thanks!

Your micros (vitamins and minerals) or macros (P/C/F)?

I just use MyFitnessPal and the only thing I don't like about it is you can't manually enter in your own macros, just percentages (at least that's been my experience)

I use Tap&Track. You can enter in your own macros. Has a big database of food, including a lot of brand name and restaurant stuff. It does sodium but no other micros. Still, it's a good app. I tried a ton of them at one point and this was my favorite.

But you can enter your own calories and then change the % til it is close enough.

Word. I don't even play with this. I like all the red on the screen. Reminds me of the OR.

MFP works fine, but I just recently started trying a pen and paper method, and I find that to be quite satisfying.

I do mean micros. So far all the apps
show macros, from what I've seen.

I wouldn't have known how great parsley is if it weren't for micronutrient tracking.

"Lose It!" reports macros, but not micros.

+1 more for My Fitness Pal. Bar none the best tracking app I've used. Sure it's not perfect, but it's got a great database and it's equally as effective when bulking as cutting.
