no more water retention
Jordan,
I have noticed lately that if I carb up for a couple of days (200g per day for me for 2,3 days in a row) and then go low carb, I no longer get that "whoosh" effect of temporary weight loss that makes everyone swear by low carb (confusing water with fat loss). I was wondering if this was for a particular reason? Maybe I need even more calories and carbs? I'm currently getting like 2700 calories per day at 6'0 180, under 100g carbs most days for quite some time now as well-is this possibly what's at play?

You're not eating enough carbs to store enough water to get a "whoosh", not that it matters. You're 6'0 and 180 and eating a low carbohydrate diet....that's a problem.
