I don't think I'm a beginner but since I am new to SS style training, and starting fresh on SS I will start my log in this section.

I have been lifting for 2.5 years consisting of mostly bro-splits. The last 8 months of training was better, with 3 months on icecream fitness 5x5 and then 5-3-1 leading up to my first full powerlifting meet that I had last Saturday (4-12-14) - UPA Power bash. Current stats: 5'9 185lb 22 years old

    Lifts were
336 squat (missed 374 for double bouncing)
    281 bench
    462 deadlift

    in 181lb weight class

I am currently reading SS and PPST3 and I'm really excited to do some real strength training. 5-3-1 is a great program but it would suit me better 20 years from now. At this point in time I want to push myself as hard as I can.

My plan will be to start off the basic SS and see how long I can run it for.

    Starting 5 rep weights

Squat 225 - Need practice with low bar squatting, I have done nearly 100% high bar olympic style squatting
    Deadlift 365
    Press 115
    Bench 205
    Powerclean 135
