I am new to pretty new to starting strength and decided to give it a serious run a couple weeks ago.

    I am 6'3'' 275 a some muscle and a lil fluffy.

My on days are Tuesday Thursday Saturday...

Saturday 5/31 work sets went like this:

    Squat - 390 x 5 x 3 - Not too bad compared to Thursday which was brutal
    Press - 165 x 5 x 3 - Went up 10 lbs pretty easily
Dead - 365 - Failed 3 attempts barely getting it off the ground and seeing stars! My back has been fatigued and I don't know how I am ever going to get it far ahead of my squat like the rest of you all.

    Went on and deadlifted 315 x 10 x 1 so I don't regress too far.

Not sure about my programming right now, but my back has been super fatigued of late.

Also threw some frisbee for some HIIT afterwards and my glutes were on fiya!!!!!

This isn't true for all. Some of us have the same squat/dead issue (such as me). Its probably technical issues; slowly resolve each problem and it should improve past the squat.

I'm 29 a bit too old for that I'd say. I do have a goal though... I want to be able to dunk a basketball!

Squat - 395 x 5 for 2 sets and failed the 3rd set right off the bat... both attempts.
My back was highly fatigued again and this was super frustrating, because of how strong I started.
I am wondering if it's time for me to get a belt. The last set I was finding it hard to get a strong valsalva contraction.

    Bench - 285 x 5 for 3 sets
    Chin - 3,2,2,1,1,1
    HIIT - 15 min

I am looking forward to my 2 days rest. I'm going to sleep and eat like a mofo!

I figured out the lower back / glutes thing. It was tight fascia. I have been getting regular massages and its improved significantly.

    starting strength coach development program
    Squat - 396 x 5 for 3 sets
    Press - 170 x 5 for 3 sets
    Dead - Failed at 365

I'm hoping now that I am getting to the bottom of this fascia issue, I'll be able to straighten out my deadlift.
