Hi Andy
Had great success with these two assistance exercises since moving to the one lift per day model. As I've upped the weight with them though I'm getting real elbow pain...
Can you recommend anything to take their place? Are kickbacks and overhead rope extensions worthless? Or would you drop the weight on LTE&STE and use more reps?

Kickbacks are worthless.
But basically there are dozens of machine and cable exercises that are fine for triceps. If you stay with one too long and go too heavy you are likely to get elbow pain. I like to keep isolation tricep work in the realm of 10-15 reps.
