    New around these parts

Nutrition has been in the can for a while now, feeling tired and bloated

Been lurking on here for a bit, member on other sites, but decided to start Starting Strength so figured starting on here was appropriate for the kind of feedback I’ll be willing to listen to

Last stats were around this...(hadn't been lifting properly for very long)

    Squat: 140
    Bench (sucked): 110
    Deadlift: 205
    I'm 5'1" (almost 5'2" *lol*)
43 years old and weigh too damn much for someone as short as I am (165)

Not a fan of hitting every group in fine detail for symmetry. I’m a woman that loves my compound lifts with a few ancillary lifts to help build on my strength.

Had been getting back to lifting 6 days a week, cardio every day and trying to knock cals down to 1650 and that sh*t is for the birds. I feel so much better when I set my sights on 1800 to 2000, lift heavy with cardio 4 or 5 days a week, and take a full rest day during the week for proper recovery. Would rather do a slow recomp than try to drop bodyfat fast at this point. I’ll see where my strength gains are and how I am feeling in about 12 weeks or so and re-evaluate at that time.

Schedule is set, food is ready to be cooked and portioned out. Busy shifts on the floor keep me from eating on a proper schedule now and then, but I make it happen best I can.

Will be back after the gym to update today’s training session.

As strong as you are you may not be as overweight as you think. Keep up the good work.

I guess so. Sassie, when you get through with your session, I'd like to ask a few questions.
