I need at least 5 minutes between 5 singles across on deadstop rack bench presses @ 90-95% 1RM. They're just brutal. I'm not clear on the physiology of it - something to do with the nervous system, I suppose. And if one single is a really slow grind, the next one won't even leave the pins.
