    Hi Andy,

Thanks for your work on this board- great stuff.

    First some numbers
    Age: 27
    Bodyweight: 205-210
    Bench: 300
    Press: 185
    DL: 430
    Squat: 350

I've been lifting for 12 years. First for football, then powerlifting (nothing very serious). I actually had rips first edition, and ran a LP before it was cool. I later switched to a westside program with my team, and had a squat near 500. For the last few years, I've been using 531 and it integrates nicely with my life. The only thing that pisses me off is my squat. My assumption is that an every day LP would pretty quickly get me back to 4 plates and beyond where I'd like to stay. However, I'm happy with the slow and steady progress of all other lifts, so I'd like to integrate 531 with a squat LP.

To do that, I thought Id squat first thing every day, for 3x5. Starting weight will be 255. Add 5 pounds every workout. Three lifts a week. After the squats, I will do a base 531 work out of Bench, Press, and DL. Assistance work will be pull ups.

    Thoughts appreciated.

Awesome - Ran this one day since posting. Two heavy lifts is good. I had a thought of adding some 5x10 volume work after what you laid out but it was too much. Thanks again!
