    Hi Andy

I have a reconstructed knee that has a fair amount of lateral instability.

Last ID on squats it collapsed inwards a bit, inflaming something. Completed the set and set a new PR.

These types of flare up happen every year or two and in various circumstances, not just from lifting. It's painful for a few days and goes away eventually.

It had settled enough to attempt Volume day, and I bought some wraps to add stability.

Wow - was that easy and no pain.

Obviously the wraps have added something to the lift and I am not getting the full benefit of an unassisted squat.

How much should I add to compensate? Just ballpark if that is possible....I am due to go to 170kg on ID Saturday.....should I try 175 or 180? more?

    Cheers

I'd just stick with your regularly scheduled jumps

Thanks Andy...stayed at 170 but was able to go doubles easily where last week singles were a grind. Might have even been able to push out a set of 5 but just not confident with the strange feeling of being wrapped.

Going from singles to doubles is good. Take it and be happy
