What makes you think he's particularly immobile, and what do you think is so wrong with these squats that it might preclude the adding of weight?
Im trying to coach a friend of mine and i would like your opinion on how to improve his squat form. He is very immobile in his entire body, especially his shoulders as you will se on his grip on the bar.

I have never really coached someone before so im not sure if his form will get better as we move on, or if there is stuff that needs immediate fixing, before we add more weight. This was his 4th time squatting i believe.
Thanks in advance.

He could put his hands an inch wider and straighten the wrists. And he could get another half inch of depth without allowing for knee slide. Despite the frightened look on his face, he doesn't appear to be in any imminent danger of being crushed underneath a couple more imperial freedom units.
Thanks for the input. The video from the back didnt seem to work. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=flhhfX78Kzs
