    Do not get discouraged. You are apparently just starting. If so you are doing well. You will do well to consult a certified SS coach from time to time and face to face. Videos can also be helpful.

    I gather this is not your first go around with Bench Press. Most people lift Squats heavier than Bench press. Just curious about your choice of Sysiphus.

    Do have "some" experience with the lifts. Based on the last few years of life and mileage felt necessary and correct to return to a beginning, start over, reset. Throughout training career recovery has been serious issue (severe at times debilitating DOMS) even when attempting to train methodically. Facetiously took to calling this "Great Dane" syndrome.

    Sisyphus felt appropriate.
