Hey everyone, I'm Walker. I used to be shockingly skinny in high school, around 122 lbs (and according to my driver's license, I still am). About a year ago I ran that "other" 5x5 program for a couple months and then did a go at SS LP. I had never really set foot in a gym before that. I put on some good weight and got to some okay numbers but life got in the way. Now that I'm getting things sorted out I'm excited to get back to lifting and nailing down my form. For my diet I'm starting with ~4,500 cals/day and 175-200 g/protein. I'll stick with that as long as my weight keeps going up. My first two days of training are below.

    Starting stats:
    Age: 22
    Height: 6'1"
    Bodyweight: 161.6

    Monday, Jan. 4, 2016:
    Squat 115x5x3
    Press 55x5x3
    Deadlift 155x5

    Wednesday, Jan. 6: BW: 164.4
    Squat 125x5x3
    Bench Press 85x5x3
    Deadlift 170x5

Welcome, young man. As you eat healthy and lift weights you will gain strength. Who knows how much is your optimum weight but it's probably eventually over 200.

    Welcome!

Your starting numbers were just about what mine were last year, and I'm 15 years older than you and three inches shorter. Funny how that works out.

    Onward!

So I've been finding it easier to just keep my old fashioned pen and paper log updated so I won't be posting regularly in here. I may drop a line occasionally to post an update on my progress. I appreciate everyone's support!
