Interesting - incredibly different results on bodyfat % analysis.
Did all these methods for estimating my bodyfat % today
Home Tanita Scale: 20.5% (before and after gym). Bioelectrical impedance - just feet.
InBody 230 at the gym: 14%. Same as above but 4 zones, hands and feet.
Calipers: 17% just one skinfold.
For good measure I compared myself to some photos on the internet and I figure I look ~20-22%
Pretty wild how variable these things are.
I realize this stuff is more useful for measuring progress rather than getting a correct answer at any point in time. But it is interesting to me to realize how difficult it can be to eat correctly if the inputs are so wildly different depending on which tool is used
If I were to advise someone on calories and macros, the advice would be incredibly different if he were at 14% bf than 22% or even 20%.
No real question here. But interesting in any case.

Well using a single skin fold measure is pretty worthless from a body fat standpoint. Additionally, hydration status and posture affect bioelectrical impedence so if you take them at different times of the day under different conditions, the difference can be substantial.
