    As of April 1st, 40yo, 5'9", 14st2lb, or 175cm and 90kg in new money. Bit of a fat cunt really. Didn't used to be. Got a shitload of injuries but that's none of your business. Got an old mate to tell me what to do. "Lift heavy shit and eat good food." Started doing it. Told me to log it here, fuck knows why, half the discussion is dick-measuring by seppos and the other half is Rippetoe calling people dumb cunts. "SCOTUS ruling season"? "Rap battles"? Fuck that. But here I am. I copied this from my written log.

    Still sore from last time.

    My mate says when I deadlift my bodyweight deadlifts go to 3s and he teaches me powerclean. Weighed myself, 88kg now. Belt has come in two notches even with all those parmas. Maybe I will see my dick again soon and even get to use it. At mate's for a beer.

    Deadlift feeling heavy. But back has stopped hurting from other shit. Article today, apparently 95% of the people here are not doing the program. Yeah I might try not fucking it up.

    3 sets of 5 on deadlift too much now, lower back giving out, been told to go to 3x3, and next time I bench I'll powerclean.
    Pub too crowded. Had bacon and eggs for tea at home instead.

    Tuesday 26th April
    Squatted 55kg 5,5,5
    Pressed 37.5kg 5,5,5
    Deadlifted 77.5kg 3,3,3
    Triples are a shitload easier than fives.

    Powercleans Thursday.

    Carson, I don't believe in any method at all. I believe the guy telling me what to do, he has made old women and guys with MS stronger than most guys I see in the gym so I trust him, at least for a few months to see if it works. Point is, 95% of the blokes on here don't trust anyone or anything, not following any method just doing their own shit and it doesn't work. That's what that article they put up says. So I will just do as I'm told. Should have tried that when I was married.

    Off to pub now, early but so what. A grown man can get pissed before dinner if he wants.

    These were a bit of a bitch, really. He says most people pull with their arms, I didn't do that, but he wants me to stick my arse out like a fitness model. Something about keeping my back tight.

    Deadlifted 80kg 3,3,3
    Smaller jumps now on the overhead presses.

    Bodyweight 86kg. 4kg off in 4 weeks, not bad, plus still drinking beer so all good.

    First failure, missed the press. Try again next time. Bench press is still easy. Squats and deadlifts are hard but not as hard as I thought they would be by now back when I started with the naked bar.

    Thursday was my 18th workout in a row, that's six weeks. This is the most consistently I've ever done anything besides drink piss. Standing taller. Down to 84kg, I need new pants the 38s are just too loose now. Shirt is tighter though. My mate tells me not to lose anymore weight and to eat more animals. Okay. Might go to my mate's place in the country and take care of his rabbit problem for him.

    Powercleans came good. Something new - "shoulders over the bar." I was squatting back, with my shoulders forward I had to pull the bar back. Something clicked and the bastard came up.

    Forum has not become more interesting in the last couple of weeks. A video on putting your belt on. Useful shit. Next up, tying your shoelaces and wiping your bum. Also a video on taking photographs, yeah mate it's not a real workout unless it's on instagram. Fuck me drunk.
