I was diagnosed with hiatal hernia and my doctor prescribed me 40 mg of pantoprazole for my heartburn. About two months ago I started skipping my PPI because of pure laziness, but I was aware of it. I started noticing the difference in my heart beats and I’m really scared. My research on it shows me that I am facing the consequences of the withdraw from my PPI and found out that how terrible drug it is! So I’m planning to re-diagnose my hernia from a well known hernia clinic (Shouldice Hospital). Your views, please?

Pantoprazole sometimes have side effects and it's a high dose one. Be careful while doing such treatments.
