    I’m 34 y.o., Male, 6’1”, ~200 lbs.

Started doing TM in October last year, did it for about 2 month, then moved to LP looking for faster weight progression. Stayed on LP for a bit over a month, and then in February moved back to TM, doing it thus far.
Normally train early in the morning (my gym opens at 5 am, and that’s when I start my training).

Here is my latest week log:

    Monday (May 16th, 2016)

    Squat
    5x45, 5x135, 5x5x250

    Press
5x45,5x95, 5x125 (wrong weight, should have been 120, corrected in next sets)
    3x5x120, 4x120

    Deadlift
    5x135, 5x225, 5x275, 4x325

    Wednesday (May 18th, 2016)

    Squat
    5x45, 5x135, 2x5x200

    Bench press
    5x45, 5x135, 3x5x180

    Chin-ups (no weight)
    11, 7, 4

Back extension (with 10 lbs plate)
    5x10

    Friday (May 20th, 2016)

    Squat
    5x45, 5x135, 5x225, 1x280

    Press
    5x45, 5x95, 3x140

    Power Clean
    3x45, 3x95, 3x165, 2x165, 3x3x165

Needless to say, I’m disappointed with my today’s squats and press. I did 2x280 last week, and I did 5x275 a week before that, I was expecting at least to get some progress today, and generally felt ok during the training session. I thought that may be since I did not get much exhausted with squats, I will be able to finish press, but nope, regress there too (last week was 4x140).
Anyhow, going to proceed as planned and see what happens next week. May be it was just another not so good day.

With a name like yours, you really need a more up to date training method.

Yeah, I plan to add curls... eventually... maybe...
Anyway, what is so special about the name?

I didn't know that guy. Pretty sure nobody really knows him in Russia, but seems he built a name for himself here in U.S. Russians do not buy into his methodics, they are too suspicious.

Got my inov8 fastlift 335 yesterday, today is first training with this shoes.

    Squat
    45x5, 135x5, 205x2x5

    Press
    45x5, 95x5, 115x3x5

    Chin-ups (no weight)
10+7+6. Grip failed in first two reps. Used thicker crossbar and did not have any chalk. I normally use liquid chalk; normal chalk is not an option as I train in globo gym. Don't know any gym in my area that would allow chalk use (other than crossfit boxes that charge arm and leg).

Back extension (with 10 lbs dumbbell)
    5x10

You can always use straps for your chins if you can't use chalk. Keep up the good work.

normally, when I used "liquid chalk", I have no issues with grip. I'm now out of it and haven't bough new one. But yes, straps are the option as well.

The whole week got screwed up, instead of Monday/Wednesday/Friday I made Monday/Thursday/Sunday. Extra rest does not seem to help.

    Squat
45x5, 135x5, 225x5, 280x3. Honestly, I hoped to make all five at 280. I made 255x5x5 on Monday. New shoes felt good, more stability, better traction. Not enought to give me extra two reps though Still plan to move to 260 next volume day (which will probably be Tuesday).

    Bench press
45x5, 135x5. 220x4. Again, I hoped to have all five done. Now have to wait another two weeks to try.

    Power clean
45x3, 95x3, 165x5x3. Power clean was much better than previous two weeks. Less issues with racking (only one rep was not properly racked).

Overall, I could expect better day provided extra rest and good sleep (I normally train at 5 a.m., today I went to gym in the afternoon). I guess yesterday's beer did not allow me to perform better today.
