Body fat set point
Hey Jordan what are your thoughts on body fat set point: is it a near permanent thing? Lyle McDonald says so, but then what's the point of even cutting? Surely you can decrease that set point over time.

It can be lowered or raised, IMO, by markedly changing the environment of the organism for extended periods of time or changing the variables contributing to body fat set point. Changes have to be sustained however, and I reserve my right to change my opinion based on evidence that I have not yet seen.
