Version 2, with more "sqouze," "chest up," "tight back," etc... before the pull. Don't yank the bar off the ground.
I'm lifting decent weight, but I feel my form is hampering me from increasing weights. Which of these two is the more correct form? Or are both completely incorrect?

What does one "squeeze" in your response? The glutes? And my other issue is the "tight back" -- it loosens after I hit 2 reps.
ayjay, have you read the book? Or this, at least?
Deadlift starting Position Critique
Hi Adam,
Yes, I've read the book and it's what brought me here, but it looks like I'm not well-versed with the part you linked. And will have to remember to squeeze the chest up. Thanks.
