    Hey everyone,

    I'm Alvin, I'm from Alberta, Canada, and currently in the last semester of my electrical engineering degree. I've been lifting for awhile but I've gotten tired of still being weak and I'm ready to actually start training.

    Stats:
    Age: 22
    Height: ~5'7
    Weight: 145-147lbs

    Workout (Friday, 2017-03-03)
    Squat: 185x3x5
    Press: 85x3x5
    Deadlift: 185x5

    Welcome. Don't be surprised if your body gets heavier, but not fatter, as you train seriously. Good start. Also, don't be surprised if DL starts climbing faster than you squat. Have you tried online coaching? Can you post some videos on the technique section?

    Thanks. Will post videos for form critiques in the future, just gotta figure out a place to set up my phone since I workout by myself. For this program, I want to be able to get through the process myself so I'm not too interested in online coaching.

    Took 2 days off from my first day to follow a MWF schedule

    Workout (Monday, 2017-03-06)
    Squat: 195x3x5 Knees weren't going out enough/quick enough for first set. Focused more on my knee movement and ended up not using enough hip drive for a few reps.
    Bench: 155x3x5
    Deadlift: 195x5

    Deadlift: 245x5 (Meant to do 255 but i messed up adding the plates)

    Nice start alvin! Keep the gain train rolling. Where do you train? Unfortunately I'm a world health member in sherwood park for simplicity's sake.

    UofA gym currently, I gotta pay gym fees in my tuition so mind as well use it!
