How do I transition to 5x5 from Adv Novice
If I am doing 3x3 and 1x5 with 2 backoff, how do I move to 5x5?
Should I just take 10% off of my last work sets?

When you go to TM - use your last completed 3x3 workout to start your Intensity Day out for a single set of 3. Take about 15-20% off of that 3RM for your 5x5 starting point.
This will assume that your heavy triple is at about 90% of 1RM. So this puts your 5x5 work at 70-75% of 1RM. A safe starting point. Adjust from there after 1-2 weeks
