Missed workouts
Hi all, this is my first post - not sure if it's in the right place. I'm going to miss 2 workouts this week while on holiday - I'm 22 weeks in and just wondered whether I should just continue with progression or drop the weight back a bit on my return?

You'll know after your first set. Go ahead and try your next scheduled weight (very conservative increase) and see what happens. If you nail a set of 5, then do 2 more sets of 5 and you'll probably be more sore than normal but all good to go. If you only get 3 or 4 then reduce the load about 5% and squat 2x5 and try again next time. Usually a missed workout or two here or there is no big deal. Sometimes it even helps. If you miss all the time or you miss a full week or more then you look at having to reset/work back up, etc.
