Began SS three weeks ago, today's workout was:

    Squat 92.5kg: 5, 5, 5
    Bench 75kg: 5, 5, 5
    Deadlift 110kg: 5

Having some difficulty dialing in the low-bar squat but will keep trying. This is the fourth week, should I switch to phase 2 of the novice program? Any input is appreciated.

You may wish to try online coaching. Someday we will have coaches all over the world. But online coaching is the next best thing.

I hear ya. When my work schedule allows I'm going to schedule a coaching session or two with a coach that is about 2 hours away from me. I can't swing the monthly fee for SS Online Coaching.

    Welcome to the board Sir.

If you do A/B novice program(not 3days LP),it would be good to adding an additional light presses per workout to practice more technique.
    i.e.
    8/8/17
    Squat 95kg: 5, 5, 5
    Bench 75kg+1.25# fractional plates: 5, 5, 5
    *Press 60~70% x5x2*
    Deadlift 117.5kg: 5

    8/12/17
    Squat 97.5kg: 5, 5, 5
    Press 55kg+1.25# fractional plates: 5, 5, 5
    *Bench 60~70% x5x2*
    Deadlift: 120kg

39/m/5'8"/168# (where is this 2-pound weight fluctuation coming from?)

    Squat 102.5kg: 5, 5, 5
    Press 57.5kg: 5, 5, 5
    Chinups at bodyweight: 10, 10, 10

Did squats outside the rack with bumper plates and felt stronger. Not sure if it was mental cause I had to get it up or drop everything but I enjoyed doing them more that way. Still struggling with low bar, can't wait to get proper coaching. Knees are staying put though and not sliding forward so that's a bad habit I've broken.

Press is feeling good too. Challenging, but good. I'm looking forward to getting the big 20kg wheels on that bar!
