Hello,

I started the SS program in July and have really enjoyed it so far. I haven’t seen too many female novice training logs on here and would like to add to the examples of female progress with SS. I started the program with pretty intense sciatic pain stemming from half marathon training. The pain had been bugging me for about 6 months with no relief, and with just two SS sessions the pain was gone and it hasn’t been back. I can’t begin to express how grateful I am for SS, because I was beginning to think that pain would stick around forever.

Stats:
32 year old female, 5’6”, 195 pounds. No idea on body fat, but I would guess mid 30%. Since turning 30 I’ve started to care more about health and fitness because I’m feeling old as F. Previous to SS I’ve dabbled in martial arts, running, and random gym classes. I’m working with a SSC 3x a week. Eating habits were semi-decent before SS, doing my best to make good choices and eat more protein, but man, getting that protein is hard.

I’ll put up my progress so far and do my best to post regularly (warm ups not included, all in lbs).

Three week vacation, scaled back a bit on my return. Hard to move backwards, but it was nice to see that I didn’t have to start at square one.

That’s where I’m at so far. I’m at or above my pre-vacation numbers, so I’m happy. My goals are to move through LP and get stronger. If I get leaner I wouldn’t be mad about that, but right now focusing on moving through LP. No more vacations or work trips for a while, so I should be able to be more consistent for at least the next few months.
